Here you'll find everything you need to integrate with BeSmartee as an AMC (Appraisal Management Company). You'll be able to receive appraisal orders on behalf of your mortgage lender and provide status updates back to the consumer in real-time.
Note that your relationship is still with the lender. BeSmartee is an administrative system only. BeSmartee is not meant to be an AMS (Appraisal Management System). You must still manage your orders using your own systems, but now your system may provide real-time status updates to the customer.
Each appraisal follows a strict status hierarchy. In a perfect scenario, it is the following:

| 3 | Payment Approved | AMC | Credit card payment has been successfully processed |
| 4 | Appointment | AMC | Notification of appointment date and time |
| 5 | Inspected | AMC | Notification that a successful inspection has been made |
| 6 | Complete | AMC | Completed appraisal report has been uploaded |
To handle exceptions, the below statuses are also used:

The BeSmarte API is served only over HTTPS to ensure data privacy. HTTP is not supported.
